First Step on Our LOI Pathway
As we approach the final months before the introduction of the Under 15 National League, the club’s recent work will culminate with the formation of our inaugural Under 15 National League side for the league beginning in August.
Since the start of the current DDSL season, both the Under 14 and Under 15 Premier teams have been watched on numerous occasions, with the aim of the club to see potential players play on a consistent basis, rather than on a one-off “trial” basis. This will continue right up to the Summer break in the DDSL league. Along with this, the club are also in the middle of playing in-house friendlies amongst the relevant age groups, to ensure that any player from Cabinteely FC that wishes to express an interest towards our National League team is given the chance.
As with the Under 17s and Under 19s National League teams, the club will always look at the players currently playing within the club first before looking at players from other clubs. This is the policy of our club and will be going forward.
Players from outside of Cabinteely FC who are interested in joining our National League team are asked to fill out the online information form here and will be contacted in due course.
This is an important part of the clubs’ footballing pathway for players. Our Under 15 National League team is an important part on our pathway in obtaining opportunities regarding playing League of Ireland football or further afield.
