Cabinteely FC today announced the appointment of Pat Costello as General Manager of the club with effect from Tuesday next, 3rd April.

Making the announcement Cabinteely FC Chairman, Larry Bass, said “We have just celebrated our 50th Anniversary and we move on to the next chapter in the story of the club. The time is now right to take the club to another level and to deliver on the ambitions of those who set up the club in 1967 as well as the ambitions of those of us who have now taken up the mantle at the club”.

“Pat Costello brings vast experience from his various managerial roles with South Dublin County Council, Special Olympics Ireland and the Football Association of Ireland and together with his media experience in such outlets as KFM Radio, Ballywire Media and BBC Radio Ulster he is well placed to lead all administrative and operational aspects of the club at all levels”.

Pat Costello said “Cabinteely Football Club has long been recognised as a club for doing things the right way. I look forward to working with Larry Bass and the Board as well as Pat Devlin, the coaches, the players and above all the many volunteers who make Cabinteely FC the best community club possible.”

“I also look forward to working with the various stakeholders at national level as well as the business, and local government leaders in the Dun Laoghaire Rathdown area in delivering on the ambitions of Cabinteely FC as set out in their Vision and Strategy 2017 to 2021”.
