Cabinteely FC are delighted to announce the appointment of Eddie Wallace as Head of Youth Development and Recruitment for the club.

Wallace joined Cabinteely in 2017, working with our First Team and has also been a key part of recruitment for our Underage National League teams.

Director of Football and First Team Manager Pat Devlin said “I am delighted with the appointment of Eddie Wallace. He has done great work so far for Cabinteely and I have no doubt that he will continue to make great progress for the club in his new role.”

Speaking on his new role in the club, Eddie said “I am delighted to be taking up this new role and can’t wait to get going. Our club is in a unique position with having so many underage teams so there is huge potential there. We have already achieved a lot in our short space of time with the Underage National League teams and with the support from everyone we can further build our pathway for our players to go through from U13s right up to our First Team.”

Wallace has a wealth of experience with over 40 years involvement at the highest level of Irish football both as a player and a coach. Wallace has a hugely impressive track record in working with young players and is responsible for introducing a number of players into the league during his time at Bray Wanderers, Bohemians, St. Patrick’s Athletic, Shamrock Rovers, UCD, Athlone Town and Cabinteely.
