Cabinteely F.C. are delighted to announce that Director of Football and First Team Manager Pat Devlin has appointed Eddie Wallace as the club’s Head of Recruitment.

In this role, the highly respected Wallace will oversee the recruitment of elite players for our National League and First Division Teams.

Wallace brings a wealth of experience to the club with over 40 years involvement at the highest level of Irish football both as a player and a coach. Wallace has a hugely impressive track record in working with young players and is responsible for introducing a number of players into the league during his time at Bray Wanderers, Bohemians, St. Patrick’s Athletic, UCD and Athlone Town.

Speaking on his appointment Wallace said “I’m very happy to be involved here with Cabinteely F.C., and I aim to help the club continue to progress forward.”

Pat Devlin added “I have known Eddie for a long time, I am delighted to have involved with Cabinteely F.C. I am very confident that between Eddie and my management team we will find a lot of talented players for Cabinteely F.C.”

Chairman Larry Bass spoke of the club’s delight at the appointment. “Eddie’s track record of spotting talent is one of the best , if not the best, in the country. His experience will be invaluable to the club. We are delighted to have him on board.”

Eddie Wallace is the latest high profile name to join Pat Devlin’s management team for the 2017 season following the announcement that Graham O’Hanlon and Eddie Gormley will be first team coaches alongside player/coach Daire Doyle.
