The latest installment of our roundup of global media coverage is our biggest yet! The first edition came after we offered Free entry to anyone who lost a bet because of our late equaliser (you can read it here) and the second edition was when we bought Yaya Toure a birthday cake (which you can read here). In our third edition we now round up the media reaction around the world to Cabinteely F.C. comparing their midfielders and strikers to Mario Balotelli!
When preparing our half season review, which will be online next week, we were putting together some stats and realised that a few of our attacking players were a bit more prolific than £16 million Liverpool and Italian international player Mario Balotelli and felt we needed to share this! Our original tweet is below. It is worth noting that our tweet to Yaya Toure received 178 retweets so this is a huge increase with Cabo now on people’s radars more than ever!
