The recent deferral of the nation’s plans to move into Phase 4 of the roadmap to reopening society and business mean that the club will be limited to a maximum attendance of 200 people for our SSE Airtricity League First Division home fixture against Cobh Ramblers on Friday August 14 at Stradbrook.

We cannot have any public ticket sales to games as we shall not have capacity due to total numbers allowed capped at 200.

All existing season-ticket holders and Club Cabo members are being prioritised and have their place at this game confirmed if they wish to attend.

Each travelling team will be limited to 35 people including players and management/coaches and officials.

We will have our own team, coaches, officials, matchday volunteers, and medical personnel.

There will also be media, security and St. John’s Ambulance as well as referees and FAI Inspectors/Observers.

The limit of 200 people at the fixture will be very strictly adhered to. For this reason, we regret to state that no walk-in attendees will be permitted and will be turned away at the gate.

To comply with the requirements, season ticket holders and Club Cabo members must pre-register their intent to attend at least 48 hours before kick-off.

To remain Covid compliant, every person in the ground must be recorded for contact tracing purposes which requires a significant amount of administrative work for our team of volunteers.

There will be no streaming of Cabinteely FC home games at Stradbrook unless a visiting team decides to stream, as we cannot afford the costs and we do not expect enough purchases of the streams to cover the costs of cameras, commentary, and streaming.

All at Cabinteely FC wish we could welcome our club members, supporters, visiting fans and the overall football family to Stradbrook to SSE Airtricity League football.

But we place the overall health and well-being of our players, management, staff, and volunteers above all else.

We will be following all FAI requirements in relation to the Covid-19 pandemic.
